WELCOME

As the Edinburgh Tabernacle Welcome department we delight in inviting and welcoming first comers to the house of God. We believe that a house that welcomes visitors welcomes angels and God himself. (Matthew 10:40).We therefore aim to make first timers feel comfortable, loved and quite at home.

We do this by inviting them to a short interactive session after the service where we they can ask questions and present prayer requests. it is also an opportunity to know them better and identify their area of need. This is usually followed by a prayer, serving of refreshments and interaction with the pastor and other believers.

After the Sunday service we carry out a follow-up to check on how they are doing and find out if there is anything they need assistance with. This being an endeavour to create a lasting brotherhood in Christ and help each other grow in love.
